Why are front, pant pockets, mostly for men, created in the shape of a triangle? I actually thought about this a while back, but just now started posting. Since then, some pants have made the change. I’m still not sure why there are still pants out there with triangle shapes.
The triangle shapes make it uncomfortable when you have your mobile device in your pocket, especially if you have a “Plus” size phone. It gets worse when you have to have other things in your pockets, keys or whatever. It all gets squeezed together and when you have to lean down to pick something up or even just sit in a chair, you have to rearrange the position of the items in your pocket so there isn’t any “collateral damage.” Guys definitely know what I’m talking about.
Again, in this age of technical gadgets that we can’t leave home without, it is nice to see pants now have square shape pockets in th front. However, the struggle is still real and we need more designers/retailers to understand our plight and switch to square-shaped, front pant pockets. Stay strong my friends.
